Our society is a non-profit organization with an all volunteer staff,
and the fees for research are quite reasonable and go toward maintaining the library

LIMITED RESEARCH at the Elizabeth Township Historical Society
is done by our resident genealogist, Mrs. Ellen J. Ballas. 

Mrs. Ballas can be reached by E-Mailing her through the Society or by visiting  her website .

All REQUESTS must come in writing to the Society.  They must be accompanied by a check or money order made out to the Elizabeth Township Historical Society and directed to the attention of "Ellen J. Ballas, Research Department."

Our fees for MEMBER OF THE SOCIETY (in good standing) are  $10.00 per hour  plus postage and 15 cents for each photocopy page.  The amount sent will determine the amount of time spent on the search.  It is advisable to initially send at least $2.00 for copies & postage along with the hourly fee.  If additional monies are required for copies, because of the amount of information, we will notify you of this fact.

Our fees for NON-MEMBERS are  $15.00 per hour  plus postage and 25 cents for each photocopy page.  The amount sent will determine the amount of time spent on the search.  It is advisable to initially send at least $2.00 for copies & postage along with the hourly fee.  If additional monies are required for copies, because of the amount of information, we will notify you of this fact.
