Wright Lifetime Award for
History Appreciation and

local student winners of the
National History Day
Competition. This is an
on-going program that bestows a
significant cash award together
with several other memorable
prizes.

Annual Antique/Classic/Hot
Rod/Old Truck Benefit Car Shows
which drew over 60 vintage
vehicles and several hundred
spectators. (2002 and 2002).

2001, the first weekend
"Civil
War Encampment," an
actual "live-the-life" outdoor
military experience at the
Wright House for thirty sixth-,
seventh- and eight-grade
students from local schools.
The fourth annual event in 2004
enlisted fifty-five students!

7.5 miles east of U.S. Route 19
(via Waterdam Road).
