NILL; BRANDSTETTER; EGGERT
about
Monongahela cemetery in North
Braddock. There I found a
ROBERT NILL stone with
PAULINE NILL (1864
- 1951).
After a
visit in Germany in 1932
unfortunately all contact was lost.
Are there any NILL descendants still
living around Braddock / North
Braddock / Pittsburgh?
Another
sister of Pauline, named Friederike
or "Ricke" Brandstetter (b: 28 JUN
1854) left for America, too.
She was
married to (..) EGGERT, but I don´t
have any information on her at all.

Hello, I'm looking for data about
the family of Otto R. Oehm,
born Dec 24, 1881 at Dunkirk, NY,
married to Louisa M., born 1874 in
Germany. They had five children:
Herman, born 1904, Edna, born 1905,
Howard, born 1906, Richard, born
1909, and Earl, born 1912.
1910 they resided in Reesport City,
Alleghany, PA, 1920 in Chicago,
Illinois, 1930 in Pittsburgh,
Alleghany, PA. According to his
military registration card Otto Oehm
resided in 1942 at Pease Rd, Wexford
Pine Twp, Alleghany, PA. Most
probably his wife has died before
1942. Actually there is a
good chance that Louisa M.'s maiden
name was "Engel". In that
case she is related to my wife and
came from St. Wendel, Germany.
Please respond to Roland Geiger,
rolgeiger@aol.com
Thanks a lot in advance.

I am researching the
Blachut family and
Niedabylek
(this name has many spellings). They
lived on Lawn St. in Pittsburgh, PA.
Josef Blachut married Wanda Niedabylek
in 1913 in Pittsburgh, PA. They had
several children, Helen, Josephine and
Emelia. Josef, Jr. died at age 2. Wanda
and her infant daughter were killed in a
construction accident circa 1921 at

have a torn, tattered newspaper article
of the accident without a date and
cannot make out what name newspaper.
Wanda's parents were Julia and Ignak
Niedabylek. There was also Emil, Carl,
Sofia, Mandrik and Walter Niedabylek.
Josef Blachut ( name later changed to
Blacket) had brothers and sister,
Anthony (Tony) Blachut is one of the
brothers.I have not
been able to find any cemetery, death
records (due to a fire?) or anything at
all about this half of my family. Any
