HANDS/ VERSCHUEREN/ WILLHOFT/RUSH
I am researching my great grandfather,
Samuel Clarence Hands, and his family. He
died after an auto accident on May 18,1954 in
Claysville. He was born Nov. 22, 1884 or 85 around

was Anna and that he had at least two brothers, Curtis
and William, and at least two sisters, Jennie and Edna.
Edan married a Charles
Rush,
also of Washington Co. I know that Samuel lived in
New Eagle and Claysville at different times and also
spent time in Ohio. He was an iron worker.
He was married for a time to an Ella Verschueren,
daughter of Earnest Verschueren of McDonald.
Sam's daughter, Lenora Hands Willhoft was married
to Joseph Willhoft of Claysville.
Any information would really be
