LONG/ HOFFMAN
I am trying to locate information on the Long/Hoffman families.  What I have here is what I know for certain.  The only date for certain is that of my Grandmother, but I have little information on many other dates.  Trying to locate more information on my paternal Grandfather, to research his family

Emma K Hoffman married Walter Paul Long.  Her birth date was June 8th, and she passed away December 8th, 1988.  Walter was in the Air Force during WWII, was injured and died after returning home.  I am certain he is buried in Allegheny Cemetery, in Pittsburgh, but cannot locate any information beyond that.  They had two sons:  Walter Hance Long born on 6/22/32, and Allen Gilbert Long (birth date unknown).  They lived in Pittsburgh all of their lives, as far as I have been able to find out.

Emma had a sister who is still living (Clara Hoffman Hubstenberger), who had one son now deceased Merle Hubstenberger; and one brother Louis Hoffman, whose wife was named Connie (maiden name unknown).  They had two sons Kenneth (now deceased) and James (still living as far as I can find out).

I am trying to locate anything I can on Walter Paul.  Walter Hance is my father, but has no information on his father or his father's family.  I found my grandfather's name in the WWII Memorial, and it was placed there by someone named James Hayes "friend".  I have no knowledge of this person.

Any help anyone could give would be most appreciated.  My paternal family kept little records, and most seem to have been lost with my grandmother.  I am trying to locate information from a few states away, and it is proving daunting.  Without a birth date or a death date on Walther Paul, court of records is not proving to be much help.

Again, any direction would be most appreciated.
